‘Do Nothin’ Set For March 20th Release as Scott Garcia Collaborates with Syncia and CASH ONLY

On the 20th March, Famous When Dead Records will release ‘Do Nothin’ by Scott Garcia x Syncia x CASH ONLY. CASH ONLY runs the label that’s become essential for progressive house and UK-influenced sounds, teaming again with Syncia after their shared work. They link with Scott Garcia, the iconic UKG name whose ‘It’s a London Thing’ remains a cornerstone of the movement. The record stands as the veteran’s first release this year, having already gained traction through a premier via his KISS Radio slot.

The production sits around a hypnotic wobbly bass that works with nimble skippy drums drawn from garage traditions. This setup builds a unique pocket full of the group’s established dancefloor strength, leaning deeper into low frequencies for a heavier edge. Tastemakers have latched onto it early, pointing to the strong low-end action and calling out its potential to echo “the Flat Beat” moment of 2026.

The new single extends the run started with Syncia and CASH ONLY’s ‘Surrender’, pushing their style of bumping house fused with garage and jungle elements into more shadowed territory. With the label locked in for its full summer presence at Pikes Ibiza, ‘Do Nothin’ shows the strength of combining Scott Garcia’s longstanding UK underground influence with the producers’ modern edge.
