    Searching for that "Get Ur Freak on" (instrument?)

    Hello guys! I wanted to know what was the instrument that was used for the main melody of "Get Ur Freak On" by Missy Elliott.
    Can someone light me on this?

    As far as im aware (and ive done some research) it's original Missy Elliot mate.

    The drum instrument used is called a Dhol. Commonly used in Bhangra music. As far as the other instrument, it may be a Tumbi. Also used in most Bhangra music.

    The Sample Timbaland used is from an Zero- G Sample CD. It was from Spices of India.
