AHA! There is a dry (no reverb) studio acapella of MJ's Thriller

I just heard it in a prominent dj's set, He basically dropped out the music and let it play for about a minute. Dry as a bone studio version, not a diy, not noise gated etc. So whoever originally leaked that Thriller pella way back either purposely added tons of reverb just to mess with people, or bounced the tracks down wrong from the sessions. The funny thing is Bruce Swedien (Thriller engineer) was asked about the extra reverb on Gearslutz a long time ago and he confirmed it, but I doubt he actually heard the crazy amount of reverb in the acapella that leaked. Anyway mystery solved. :)

Podcast, pretty sure it was Mell Starr or one of his guest djs, I know he's a rare pella fiend! He was the first person I ever heard drop the full Chic Good Times pella in a set years ago.
