    You could also use the KONG editor for sampling in vocals and assigning them to the MPC style pad! =)

    Really depends on ability and what you wanna get out of the software. Reason is a great all in one package and yes realy good for loop/beat driven tracks, but once you get into wanting to record externally vocals etc its best to use something more suited to that such as pro tools (one of the little setups are great) or cubase/logic with a decent soundcard.
