Every time I go to search for a specific artist, let's say "Pink - I Got Money Now", I get numerous results with nothing close to Pink, the artist, or the name of the song at all. It's almost always frustrating trying to find anything specifically. Anyone else feel the same way or have anything to add? Let me know.

I feel the same way. I hope that someone can give a hint if there is a way to do such searches and then get the desired result(s).

it's not perfect..just takes a bit of common sense..

I get best results with just "one" word..but even then
it doesn't always work..for example, if I search "who"
for "The Who" I'll get no useful results..

As gill so nicely said, use one word. It works very well, as does the advanced search

I recommend using the advanced search form instead. Unfortunately this is beyond our control as it's a part of vBulletin's software. I will continue to look for tweaks or improvements for the search.

I've never really had any issues with the basic search. I either get a hit on what I'm looking for or I get a mix that may yield to finding something else i'd rather have. You take the good with the bad.
