Die Young Mega Mashup! (8 Songs!)

    Remix Rating:

I got the instrumental for Die Young and I was prepared for once I got the proper things!

    Tracklist:
    Ke$ha - Die Young
One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful
Britney Spears - Till The World Ends
Rihanna - Where Have You Been
    Ke$ha - Tik Tok
Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm
    Lady Gaga - Just Dance
Owl City/Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time

I know some things are pitched, but not to the point that it sounds awful!

    Enjoy and leave comments!

mmm I dunno about this one. It seems to have no structure to it.
And that you have just tried to see how many pella's you can put over a instrumental.

I'm working on a mega mashup thing using this mental also, but I have to agree with the above comment. It has no structure to it. Its more like a mega mix than a mashup. Some of the pitching is off also, but thats all in the ear of the listener anyway.

I know, that was the idea. I had gotten that instrumental and i was like damn i gotta do something with it. If I took more time then it probably would be more structured. And yup, some things are pitched, but not to the point where everyone is gonna say "this sounds like a chipmunk!" thanks for your comments!

Some parts sounded good, but the cross-overs weren't thought about. You should have thought a little about the pitch diffences although not too noticeable.

i see everyone is trying their hand at DJ Earworm style lol.

I am a long time musician who is new to this (DJing, beat production, remixing, mashups) so I guess I don't have much of a point of reference for whether this stands up to other mashups that are out there. But I did enjoy it. I thought there was a little bit too much going on / too many different songs. But overall I enjoyed and this is a great inspiration for me as I start to think about what I might do on my first project!

In my opinion the over-compression killed the mix.. work on the mix
