PS3 for its Blu Ray - Games and Catch Up Tv all in one machine now. I have been sold to Sony though since I had a chipped PSone. We all had one and it was brilliant haha.

Online on Xbox thrashes that of the PS3, fact...
Just look at the threads in this section;
"Xbox Share Your Gamertags" is on Replies: 22 & Views: 431
"PS3 Share Your Gamertags" is on Replies: 2 & Views: 20
Considering I play mostly online, xbox is the choice for me. Oh xbox live didn't get hacked into, PSN did..
I'm no fanboy, but statistically and evidently the xbox is my preference. Though both consoles are brilliant I must add

Well, overall I think PS3, but there are some downfalls...
Music playing - Xbox wins
-Xbox does the traditional volume bar, so it can be completely muted, barely audible, moderate, really loud. And nearly everygame (Every game I've played anyway) can support custom music
-PS3 has a poopy -4/+4 limit of volume (Basically I couldn't listen to HellYeah's first album and hear Red Dead's sound effects, cause HY overpowered it sooo much) . And hardly any games support the custom music
Games - Matter of preference
But personally I think PS3 has better games...
Controllers - Again, matter of preference
I think PS's controllers are the Perfect gaming controller (It did take me awhile to get used to their weird triggers)
And they have built-in rechargeable batteries. Win!
Online - Xbox
Xbox - you have less idiots on it, because it's a paid-feature
PS3 - It's free so that's amazing, but then you get people who don't care and do stupid stuff...
Others - PS3
PS3 has the internet browser! Wooh! ... Although it's a sucky browser... It's, like, worse than IE
