FFT Multi Tool (utagoe alternative for REAPER)

    Instructions
    ---

    0. Install REAPER DAW ( www.reaper.fm ).

    1. Extract ALL of below into your Reaper EFFECTS folder.

    https://github.com/junh1024/Reaper-S...ive/master.zip

    REAPER/Effects (for portable install)
    REAPER/Installdata/Effects (for normal install)

    2. Open this template in REAPER , it will prompt to choose your full & instrumental file.

    https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...t_template.rpp

    3. zoom in using mousewheel & align tracks.

    4. play & adjust FFT MT settings

    5. File > Render to export.

    Benefits:
    - don't pre align, align using the REAPER GUI.
    - adjust & hear the results in realtime, not 1 minute later.
    - faster workflow
    - REAPER supports mp3, FLAC, vorbis, etc. Not just WAV
    - generic algorithm with transient addition for vox, may be slightly better than utagoe

    Sound Example:

REAPER supports up to 64ch so it's possible for FFTMT to have an elegant design to work on 4ch directly (dual stereo). So you need only 2 tracks to work it.

If your DAW only supports stereo/2ch, You can already do this with kn0ckout VST but you need 6 tracks with complex & awkward routing. SO there's no way to use FFTMT subtract & we're back to square 1.

You can load the JS/txt with https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ VST on windows & set the appropriate options for FFTMT subtract if your DAW supports at least 4ch (or 5.1 surround) & flexible routing. The idea is this: send the instro to ch3-4 of the full mix, and use FFTMT to subtract.

In utagoe you load it up with a instrumental of a song and the cd version of same song and if your lucky utagoe will output a acapella for you. I have had great success using it to make pellas. What this guy is saying is you can now use Reaper to do the same thing one difference is in utagoe it lines up the tracks for you and in Reaper you have to do it yourself. I hope I explained this right...

Ah OK. Well now if this would work in reverse to get instrumentals like Anjoks project that would be great.
