File host storage changes
There are so many file hosts around these days, we recommend some over others for reasons like: reliability, copyright checking & lifeline limits.
We have a 'link verification bot' that regularly checks all links to ensure they are active. There have been some minor bugs over time with some popular hosts so they have been removed from the checking process. Some file hosts do not allow our API manager script to verify links. To save time and dead links from having to be manually reported by members we will soon be working on this script so it verifies validity correctly and we will maintain the scripts too.
We will only be allowing a shortlist of file hosts to be allowed here from this point. Here is our current shortlist:

Google Drive
Mediafire
