Invert Track Phase
How could I remove the kick and snare from a instrumental in acid pro7?
I've tried to duplicate the track and invert the phase of one of them, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
And would I be able to remove the instruments and just get the kick and snare, etc.?
Sorry for my bad english!

if there is a sample of just the beat in the instrumental in the track then you can sample it, loop it, then phase invert it against the whole instrumental. if you cant do this this you could send me the instrumental and i'll have a go for you.

Try Extra Boy vocal remover VST for phase inversion. It works reasonable well on certain things.
Kn0ck0ut VST is also very good for isolation:

It uses a left/right method.

You have to use two stereo tracks with thew same song and pan each one hard left and hard right respectively, sum them both to a mono bus and then invert the phase on either one of the panned tracks. Itīs on the output of the mono bus that you will then have the elements that are the same on both track cancelled out.

PI will Most likely not work.
Try using a FFT imager like one of these https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...EhSxK3Q4/edit#
and drop the center. (or zynaptic unmix if you;d like to give your CPU a workout, or frei:raum EQ)
