Hi. I'm just wondering when requesting a song how is it known that a certain song is available? There's a few songs I'd like to get the stems for but unless they are known to be available it would be pointless to make a request. So just wondering how this system works. TIA.
That is the point of a request. It is rarely possible to actually know if a file is in circulation. If it is available it is likely that one of our members will know or have it.
Okay thanks. Sounds like a bit of a gamble. Best to make up a most wanted list I think.
Also I was wondering if after a request something would be shortly leaked out of a studio or a masters private collection or something similar if it would be beneficial. Something like that. I don't work in the industry so I'm not privy to this sort of stuff. :-)
