    You seem to be the resident mt rip expert here . Quick question, what's the story on Singstar? I've never played the game but watched some vids on YT and it seems to be very similar to Karaoke Revolution. In theory then their could be individual tracks extracted right?
    I read somewhere they only use the original artist tracks, not sure if this is true. I looked at the wiki song list and there's some pretty cool classic tunes.

    yes, you are correct about the J***t files. on OSX the correct extension is .caf, .aif works as well.
    the source of the confusion is on the Windows version; in addition to the 2 or 3 _jcfx files, there are also 2 or 3 _jcfx_d files. I believe these are generated by the app and are uncompressed versions to avoid any driver or codec issues with windows, just speculation, but people are assuming these are different files, larger files and bigger means better quality. but they are making a poor assumption.

    Ok I basically have everything going well except some dta issues. Is there any way to record stereo pairs at once? Cause I'm getting some phase issues when syncing tracks. Some sync perfectly, others seem like the speed or something is varying throughout the track. Also, even after setting all the pans to a specific channel, still getting some leakage. I'm guessing all my problems can be solved with dta tweaking? Thanks again
