    What is the best vst to get that great sub bass sound?

    Any ideas?

    i use Native instruments MASSIVE but also Operator on ABLETON.

    Sub bass is a sine wave... I say pick something that doesn't really eat any cpu lol

    I do my Sub bass with NI Massive, but if you want add some modulation, the better way it's to put an LFO on the volume. If you try with the LP it's sound so bad.
    There is also a plugin on Windows. I think it's just Sub but it's not really good.

    If you are using FL, load up 3xOsc, turn the "CRS" knobs all the way to the left and you are done.

    you all use Massive for a sub bass? seriously?

    jesus even the free synthesisers that come bundled with most DAW's are capable of creating a sub bass sine wave...

    Very Happy with Spectrasonics - Trilian or Rob Papen - Sub Boom Bass. Also your DAW should have a great Bass Synth included. Just spend a bit of time playing with what you have got.

    Native Instruments - Massive if you like Dub Step sounds.
