Thumbs up Remix Hits stems are da bomb!

I decided to give Remix Hits a proper go, and bought The Final Countdown stems. I also have the Rock Band (?) mogg from years ago. Comparing the three versions:

    - the original song has a duration of 5:11

    - the mogg edit ends on the 5 minute mark.

    - the Remix Hits stems keep going past both durations and end at 5:31, with Joey Tempest belting out extra lead vocals

"it's the final countdown, yeeeah - the final countdown, final countdown ohhhh"

before ending with a definitive guitar stab.

Which indicates that these are not merely the bootleg stems a lot of people seem to think, but the original full length lossless studio stems supplied by Sony/Epic.

    And they. Are. Awesome.

    • 5 drum stems & 1 complete drum track
    • 1 bass stem
    • 5 guitar stems & 2 grouped guitar tracks
    • 2 keyboard stems & 1 grouped keys track
    • 1 FX stem (intro rumbling)
    • 1 lead vocal stem
    • 1 BV stem & 1 grouped vocals stem

    Just my 2c.

Yep they are the real deal. But, keep in mind they've been digitally timestretched to a fixed tempo grid. So it's not "original" per se.

They've not been modified to a fixed tempo; TFC is already a fixed tempo of 118, meaning the original song is indeed 5:31, plus Korn's Falling Away From Me is not fixed to a tempo, it's the same as the album version.

Is it a wav file? can you use it in any software or is it working only on their software?

Nope, all are time stretched to a close BPM for ease of use. The worst example is American Woman, where it is seven seconds longer when comparing it to the RB stems, which has the same hard ending.

You get the kontakt instrument package and the WAV stems with your purchase and download.

Edit: Because of the way American Woman was mixed, stretching the stems back to the original tempo actually show the watermark that was implemented for RemixHits

Here is what it sounds like after you isolate it and turn it up.
