    Volume Control

When making a mashup, it takes quite a while to get the right volume balance between the acapella and the instrumental, on the computer there is a range that sound fine but since phones' speakers tend to cut out the lower frequencies, and there is a very specific balance in every mashup that the instrumental or the acapella aren't too loud or too quiet. This means that in order to find that range, I have to try about 20 times and transfer it to my phone and lower the vocals by a 1/10 db and try again, this process is quite tedious. Is there a quicker way I can to this?

Purchase good quality monitor speakers. For me this made gain control and mastering much more accurate for me.

I make megamixes with sometimes > 300 tracks, so keeping the same volumes is a big topic. A good limiter (I use Ozone) helps me a lot in advance before listening the outcome through the monitor speakers.
