    Exclamation ALL MEMBERS! Please Read!

Lite Records has been around for a few years now, but sadly, many of the well-known online file storage providers have either been shutdown completely, or have completely disabled their public link-sharing functionality (FileSonic, FileServe, Hotfile, Megaupload, etc.), leaving members to not only be stuck with having their stored files in their own accounts (given their chosen file provider still exists), but also unable to share their goodies on the forum as well.

It has come to our attention that all members have a decent forewarning in light of this problem:

If you have posted something on the forum with an outdated link, it is YOUR responsibility to update your thread's download link(s) by re-uploading its content to a current file storage provider WITHOUT making a re-up thread of it. We are only asking that you update your download link(s).

This will not only save a lot of time and hassle from your thread being moved to Dead Links to be (potentially) re-uploaded by another member much later in time, but also keeps the forum as clean and current as it possibly should be.

Failure to do so puts you at risk of a staff member doing a "rouge re-up", meaning your thread will be deleted and replaced by a re-up from a staff member.

    ****************************************

If this message applies to you, please know that while we are not searching individual members/content out for "rouge re-ups", we are allowing you enough reasonable time (around 7 days) to update your thread(s) so that they will have less of a chance to be taken into staff's hands at your expense.

    ****************************************

Thank you for understanding. Happy posting! :)
