Pitbull Feat. Christina Aguilera - Feel This Moment (Remix)

    Remix Rating:

Well just a remix on the hook

    What do ya think?
Im very sorry if this doesn't qualify as a remix
    remix starts at 13 seconds
AKA it happens at the hook

Maybe add a time frame where this "remix" happens?

By the way, I think it's called a "bootleg" when you just edit the original track.

If that is all you did, most of the mash-up community, remix sites, etc. would call that a "re-drum". But there's not much different in your version than the original to even release this as any kind or "remix".

I like it. Yea it is just a re-drum but its a different variation to the track.

Build from this. Maybe try a couple of different kick sequences, new hats and claps, new pads and chords. Step by step you will learn how a track is structured and you can rebuild the stems to your own ideas. Practice with more and more tracks and VST's and soon you will develop your own style and taste when editing and producing tracks.

Its all baby steps, practicing little bits over and over. You have to be confidant though! Once you understand the rules of producing and the guidelines of structure and fluincy you will find that you are your own worst critic.

Its a start, keep at it! We are here to help.
