    Cinesamples

Your best bet is a sample library, preferably Kontakt.

    I've tried plenty.

I would recommend NI Alicia Keys Piano, and Steinway Galaxy II.

But my personal favorite as far as tone goes is the Cinesamples Piano in Blue. Fantastic sound

If you want no problem, something easy and "small" I'd definitely go with Nexus, the Grand Piano preset under the Piano category, and take all the effects on it, so you can add your effects as taste.

The keyboardist in my band has tried most of the "good" ones NI, Ivory, etc.. He ultimately went with the ArtVista Grand piano. He uses it live via a Muse Receptor, and loves it.

Recently released Addictive Keys piano. http://www.xlnaudio.com/productline/2

Not free, but should sound good. There is a free version with a limited subset of keys.

    I used for a house remix i: http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm (free)

If you are looking for realistic and best modeled at a decent price: http://www.pianoteq.com/home

These are the best pianos I've heard as far as realism goes.

Cinesamples Piano in Blue sounds real nice. Steinway is too much trouble.

I just bought NI Akoustic piano from eBay. It cost me £50 (even though it retails for £100). Unfortunately it's a discontinued product so it might be quite hard to find. I'm using it in the free Kontakt player in logic and its very nice indeed. Unfortunately it crashes a lot when run as a vst in mountain lion which is solved by running it in Kontakt.
