How do you hide links in posts?

How do you hide download links in posts? Does it the system hide the link for you or do you have to hide them by yourself?

Put a [HIDE] tag around the link. Or just highlight the url and click the Hide tag button http://literecords.com/x2/images/lit...isc/hidebb.png.

If new users would run there mouse over the buttons, it'll tell you what each one is for. :p
